Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her stellar performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The actress has received several awards for her work and has even won an Oscar. Her acting career began with Broadway with a variety of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. From her early years she's been passionate about acting. She played Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school production. She became deaf in one ear following a bout of Mumps, but she didn't allow this handicap to hinder her desire to be an actress. When she was a teenager, Hunter studied drama and eventually moved to New York City. After a casual encounter, she became stuck in an elevator alongside the playwright Beth Henley and the two joined forces to create the Broadway Crimes of the Heart' which was Hunter's first performance. After she was settled in Los Angeles, she began to search for film roles. Her first film role was as an actress supporting the leading character Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in many shows and TV films in a long career that spans more than 30 years. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
